LORD OF THE RINGS MOBILE GAME

EA came to us requesting a redesign of an existing game UI, which was not aligned with their vision. The client requested for circular motifs (reminiscent of the one ring) to be worked into the visual style, more elegant, art-nouveau-inspired ornamentation and shines/magical elements, without it feeling too over-powering or looking like it would belong to one specific faction within the game. This was a really fun challenge and the final result left EA very happy. It was my job to explore styles, present ideas to the client, iterate and finalize designs, present UX solutions for new game features and accessibility, apply the approved style to the user flows and set up a style guide. Once this was completed I oversaw the handoff of files and visual assets to the client’s engineering team for implementation through Figma. Motion design was a large part of the project as well. Working with the motion designer and the client we were able to deliver a magical and elegant UI.
